The right words, a moment after the question.
Saarthi listens to your interviewer and puts a speakable answer on your screen, built from your own resume and projects, about a second and a half after they stop talking.
सारथी, the charioteer. Krishna guided Arjuna during the battle. Saarthi guides you during the call.
“Why did you pick Redis over Kafka for the chat queue?”
Mainly because we needed low latency more than long-term replay, and Redis was simpler for a team of two to run.
We used BullMQ on Redis for jobs and pub/sub for presence. Moving fan-out there cut delivery latency by about 40 percent.
First words 1.4 s after the question ended
Set up once. Then it just listens.
- 1
Get the app
Download Saarthi for macOS or Windows and sign in with your account. A two-minute check tests the sound and the hidden window.
- 2
Tell it about the job
Company, role and the job description. About 30 seconds, or one click for the next round at the same company.
- 3
Join your call as usual
Meet, Zoom or Teams, in the browser or their own app. Saarthi hears the meeting's sound, never your microphone, so it hears the interviewer only.
- 4
Say the first line
The answer appears in a small window on top of your call, kept out of screen shares. It opens with the sentence to say first, so start talking while the rest arrives.
No awkward silence.
Most copilots wait for silence, then think, then answer: two to four seconds of you staring at the screen. Saarthi hears the question ending, starts answering before the transcript is even final, and opens with a line you can say while the rest streams in.
| Feature | Saarthi | Other interview copilots |
|---|---|---|
| First words after the question | ~1.5 s | 2–4 s |
| Knows your projects in depth | Docs, notes and follow-ups | Resume and job description |
| Opens with a line to say first | Yes | Usually a block to read |
| Only claims what you taught it | Yes | Varies |
| Priced in rupees | Yes | Mostly US dollars |
| Answer window hidden from screen shares | Yes | Yes |
Follow-up questions won't catch you out.
Interviewers always dig into your projects, and that's where most people stumble. Teach Saarthi your projects once. When they ask “why that?” or “what went wrong?”, you'll have an answer that's true to what you built.
- Knows which project they mean, even from “that chat app”
- Keeps up through follow-up after follow-up
- Only says what you really did: no made-up features or numbers
“Tell me about a project you're proud of.”Picks ChatApp
I built ChatApp, real-time chat for small teams, and I owned the messaging backend end to end.
“Why did you build it that way?”Follow-up
Messages had to feel instant, so I kept delivery separate from saving them. Nothing waits on the database.
“What would you do differently?”Still on ChatApp
I'd move presence into its own service earlier, so a spike in typing events can't slow message delivery.
Built for the real interview.
Undetectable on screen share
The answer window is left out of what Zoom, Meet and Teams capture, even when you share your entire screen. You see it, they don't. The setup check proves it on your own computer first.
Costs less
Cheaper than other interview copilots, and free to try before you pay anything.
Driven from the keyboard
Show, hide or move the answers, and read a coding question off your screen, with shortcuts. No clicking around mid-interview.
Never steals focus
Reading an answer never takes the keyboard from your meeting or coding page, and clicks can pass straight through the window.
Nothing in your Dock
No Dock icon on macOS and no taskbar button for the answer window, so there's nothing to spot at the bottom of your screen.
No bot, no microphone
Nothing joins the call. Saarthi hears only the meeting's sound, never your microphone, so your own voice is never recorded.
Questions
Founder's mail
shubh.varshneycode@gmail.comAny question or feedback? Write to me here. I read every mail myself.
What do I need to use it?
A Mac with macOS 14.2 or later (Apple Silicon or Intel) or a Windows 10 or 11 PC, 64-bit. Download the Saarthi app and sign in with your account. Your profile, projects, payments and past sessions are also on this website.
Which meeting apps work?
Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and similar, in the browser or in their own app. Saarthi hears the meeting's sound on your computer, so there's nothing to connect and no bot joins the call.
Can the interviewer see Saarthi?
The answer window is left out of screen shares in Zoom, Meet and Teams on most setups, even an entire-screen share, and it never takes focus from the meeting. The app's setup check lets you confirm it on your own computer before a real interview. Lockdown proctoring software is a different case, and we don't claim to beat it.
Can I start an interview from the website?
No. Interviews run only in the desktop app, where the answer window can stay hidden. A browser tab can show up in a screen share, so the website is for setting up your profile and projects, paying and reviewing past sessions.
Does it help in coding rounds?
Yes. Press the Read screen shortcut and Saarthi reads the coding question off your screen and gives you the approach, the code and what to say while you type, without you clicking anything.
How fast is it, really?
In our tests the first words appear about 1.5 seconds after the interviewer stops, measured from the moment their voice ends. It's slower when the network or the AI model is busy.
Will it make things up about me?
It's built not to. Answers only use what's in your profile, resume and Project Brain. Where it needs a detail you haven't given it, it leaves a marked gap instead of inventing one.
What if the interviewer pauses mid-question?
Saarthi listens to how a sentence ends, not just for silence, so a thinking pause or a trailing “and…” doesn't trigger an answer. If they add to the question, the answer updates.
Does it record my voice?
No. It hears only the meeting's sound, never your microphone, and meeting apps don't play your own voice back to you. Call audio is turned into text and never recorded.
Is my data stored?
Your profile, projects and session history are stored with your account, and only you can read them. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time.
How much does it cost?
Every new account gets 2 free sessions of 10 minutes. After that, plans are monthly: ₹500 for 3 hours or ₹1,000 for 10 hours of interviews. Unused time doesn't carry over, and you can cancel anytime. See the pricing page for details.
