Get the Saarthi app

Live interview help on macOS and Windows. Saarthi hears your meeting (never your microphone), and its answer window stays on top of the call and out of screen shares.

Version 0.1.2

Needs

  • macOS 14.2 (Sonoma) or later, Apple Silicon or Intel.
  • Windows 10 (version 2004) or later, 64-bit.
  • Your Saarthi account: sign in with the same email or Google.

First time opening it

macOS

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file and drag Saarthi onto the Applications folder.
  2. Open Saarthi from Applications. macOS will say “Saarthi” Not Opened. Click Done.

This is normal: macOS shows it for new apps that Apple hasn't verified yet. Nothing is wrong with your Mac or the app.

  3. Open Privacy & Security, scroll to Security and click Open Anyway next to “Saarthi was blocked”. Confirm with your password or Touch ID, then click Open Anyway once more.Open Privacy & SecurityIf your browser asks to open System Settings, click Allow.
  4. Saarthi opens. You only do this once; after that it opens like any other app.
No “Open Anyway” button? Use Terminal instead

Open the Terminal app, paste this, press Enter, then open Saarthi again. It only changes Saarthi, nothing else on your Mac.

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Saarthi.app

Windows

  1. Open the downloaded Saarthi-Setup file.
  2. If a blue box says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.

This is normal for new apps that Windows hasn't seen many downloads of yet.

  3. Saarthi installs and opens by itself.

Saarthi then runs a two-minute setup check: sound, screenshots and hiding.
